Hello! My name is Jessica and I’m the founder of Mila and Me Handmade. I’m a floristry graduate and total dreamer, who loves nature and the great outdoors. I find inspiration in all things organic, so in my spare time you’ll find me hiking up a mountain or sunning myself on the beach. I married my sweetheart and we share the most loveable daughter. They are my inspiration, my strength and my biggest fans.

Mila and Me Handmade was born shortly after Mila was. She was only little, yet somehow had me reaching for the stars. She inspired me to use my imagination - to dream big and just go for it! Sometimes you just need a little nudge to believe in yourself, and if I want Mila to follow her dreams I thought I’d better lead the way!

 

I design and handcraft pearl jewellery from my studio in the nations capital. I focus my designs around showcasing a pearls natural form, and I source local materials to minimise environmental impact and to foster community pride. I craft timeless yet contemporary freshwater pearl jewellery for all generations to admire, and to pass down when the time comes. My collection is ever evolving and I dream to one day combine my love of pearls, flowers and wellness, to create a community space encouraging of mindfulness and expression, for all to enjoy.
